Pianist of the Ardorè Duo, the Avant Piano trio, the Rest Ensemble and the Imago Sonora Ensemble. Harpsichordist of Il Quadro Animato Ensemble, fortepianist of Cangiante Professional Accompanist at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and  at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London.

Musical Studies


During and after my Academic studies I never missed the opportunity to perform. I worked hard with other musicians: these everyday experiences and performing in concerts were my main teachers.


  • Junior Fellowship in Piano Accompaniment at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London

  • Diploma in Piano at "Alfredo Casella" Conservatory of L'Aquila, maestro Walter Fischetti

  • Post Graduate Courses of Chamber Music at the Music School of Fiesole with Bruno Canino, Andrea Lucchesini, Alberto Miodini and Trio di Parma, Pavel Vernikov. Two Annual Scholarships obtained

  • Masterclasses with Pierluigi Camicia at the Ludus Tonalis Academy

  • Masterclasses with Enrico Baiano (Architasto and Fima), Pierre Hantaï (Architasto), Rinaldo Alessandrini (Fima)

Personal study of all the main 16th to 19th century treatises. Dissertations on Girolamo Diruta “Il Transilvano”; on the historical development of the Toccata form; on the relationship between late'-renaissance and baroque music, poetry and the singing of birds.

Studies with Jacqueline Ross on the historical performance practice of the Romantic music, with a particular focus on Brahms.

I currently own a 1814 Broadwood Tafelklavier.

Historical Performance Practice


I belong to the Roman School of Composition that has its origin in Goffredo Petrassi. I studied with the late Armando Badolato and then with Claudio Perugini: they taught me the importance of a strong technical proficiency, of formal awareness and craftsmanship.

I have studied organ and gregorian chant with Juan Paradell Solè, principal organist of the Cappella Musicale Pontificia “Sistina” of the Vatican State.
