CAM GIRL by Mirca Viola
with Antonia Liskova, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Sveva Alviti and Marco Cocci
“CAM GIRL is a sober and ultimately unsettling look at a homegrown internet sex business slowly going off the rails.[…] The film doesn't indulge in exploitative sex or tricky plot twists, but resolves things in a satisfyingly realistic manner. It's a sordid slice of life that's too curdled to appease the palate or go down easy.” (HK and Cult Film News)

And see! Oh! What a dreadful thing!/The fire has caught her apron-string;/Her apron burns, her arms, her hair;/She burns all over, everywhere.
Temperament: Terrifying, frantic.
So she was burnt, with all her clothes,/And arms, and hands, and eyes, and nose;/Till she had nothing more to lose/Except her little scarlet shoes;/And nothing else but these was found/Among her ashes on the ground. Temperament: Wild and scary and beautiful. Out of control.
Dancers “fidget” but Philip is stiff in the middle of them. Dancers could represent what Philip is trying so hard to control inside of himself.
Temperament: Restless, funny, absurd, chaotic.
Children, in imitation of the murmuration, dance about in “flocks” creating patterns and shapes as the birds do, in a kind of fantasy game, forming different groups and breaking apart, using all the levels of the stage. Making sounds as if they are birds. This sequence should be quite beautiful and lyrical and freeing.
Temperament: Dreamy and mysterious and playful, but also a bit surreal, strange and uncanny.
Sound of heavy steps coming up stairs. Head Teacher enters with a huge piece of chalk, approaches a chalkboard, draws a terrifying bird creature, the Sandman. Looks over his shoulder, quickly erases it. Exits. Blackout.

“It was the sound of hope to Harry . . . the most beautiful and welcome thing he had ever heard in his life. . . . He felt as though the song were inside him instead of just around him. . . . It was the sound he connected with Dumbledore, and it was almost as though a friend were speaking in his ear. . . .” from Harry Potter.
“Think of the Dementors' fear as a cognitive bias, and try to overcome it the way you would overcome any other cognitive bias. Your hopeless feelings may not indicate that the situation is actually hopeless. It may only indicate that you are in the presence of Dementors. All negative emotions and pessimistic estimates must now be considered suspect, fallacious until proven valid.” excerpt from Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality by Eliezer Yudkowski
"A Doe in the Mist" is an enchanting composition that invites listeners into a world of ethereal beauty and gentle emotions. This delicate piece for strings captures the essence of a serene morning, as the mist rises, and a lone doe gracefully moves through the tranquil landscape. With a tender solo violin as the centerpiece, the melody weaves a captivating narrative that evokes a sense of peace, wonder, and introspection.
Temperament: reflective, meditative, serene, tender.
Written using only Peteris Vasks Strings by Orchestral Tools.
